Role Description

This industry for far too long has been dominated by offerings that only differentiated by offering a lower fee to undercut the other network. You don’t believe that “pay less for nothing” is a viable growth strategy and you want to promote solutions that will truly make a difference in helping brokerages and agents grow their business. Your objective is to recruit high producing brokers for Perch Mortgage Brokerage and grow our national footprint.

We aren’t looking to bring in anyone and everyone, we want to have geographical coverage with the right people and then scale all of those brokers to be top producers in their local markets.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Mortgage Broker Recruitment: Identify, recruit and onboard new high producing brokers for our own brokerage.

• Program Strategy: Collaborate with executive leadership to refine the offering to align with market expectations

• Brand Ambassador: Identify networking and marketing opportunities and represent Perch at those events.

Need to Have

• 5+ years of experience in business development, channel sales, or network management—preferably in financial services or real estate.

• Proven track record of building and scaling a successful broker network.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.

• Deep understanding of the Canadian broker landscape

• Ability to work independently, travel regularly, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Proficient in CRM solutions such as Intercom

• Proficient in analytics solutions such as PowerBI
