Ylopo LLC is an exciting, rapidly growing, and well funded technology startup headquartered in Santa Monica, CA with a growing team based in and around Manila. We are looking for a talented Data Architect to work alongside our CTO. The right candidate will have extensive experience with ETL process.
This is a full-time, work from home position with working hours of 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST. Occasional weekend work or overtime may arise when deadlines need to be met.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, document and operate large-scale volume, high performance data structures for the business
- Implement data structures using best practices in data modelling and ETL processes
- Gather business and functional requirements and translate these into robust, scalable operable solutions
- Participate in the full end to end development life cycle, from design, implementation and testing, to documentation, delivery, support and maintenance
- Responsible for the SIT execution with a focus on strategic testing processes and procedures to ensure that business standards and specifications are met
- Support various business functions by collaborating with multiple stakeholders, work with cross functional teams to source data and make it available for business use
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves users problems with computer software and hardware
Job Requirements:
- With working experience in Data Management, Data Modelling, ETL development, Data Warehousing and Data Analysis
- Strong hands-on skill in SQL and PL/SLQ
- Knowledge in Analytical Software such as Tableau
- With knowledge and deep understanding in data platform architecture design
- Good knowledge in Data Warehousing is essential, with strong ability to analyze user requirements into technical solutions based on specifications
- Strong interpersonal, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to open source relational database such as PostgresSQL is an advantage
- Zendesk and Pentaho exposure is a plus
System Requirements:
- The processor should be 2.0ghz and above, Intel core 5/7 is highly required for both main and back-up hardware
- Ram should be at least 8 GB with 100 gb Free disk space
- A headset with the noise-canceling feature
- 10 Mbps & up wired connection for the main internet service
- strictly no USB Sticks allowed for backup internet connection
Shift Schedule: 8AM - 4PM Pacific Standard
Rate: depends on experience
