We’re hiring a true senior engineer with real startup experience to help scale production systems used by paying customers.

This is not a role for someone who prefers structured enterprise environments. We operate lean, move quickly, and expect engineers to think and act like owners.

• Design, build, and deploy backend services in Python
• Own features end-to-end (architecture → implementation → deployment → monitoring)
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Participate in architecture decisions and influence technical direction
• Raise engineering standards across the team

• 7–10+ years building production backend systems
• Strong Python experience in real-world deployments
• Proven experience working in startups or early-stage product companies
• Designed and shipped APIs or backend systems from scratch
• Deep understanding of Postgres (schema design, performance tuning)
• Experience with async processing, background jobs, queues
• Docker + cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Fluent English
