The Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager based in London to help grow Tapi’s footprint across the UK. This is a full-cycle new business role where you’ll own deals end to end, from first outreach through to close, and play a meaningful role in expanding our customer base.

You’ll work with a mix of inbound leads and outbound opportunities, engaging directly with directors, business owners, and property managers. Your job is to understand how agencies operate, uncover real pain points, and clearly articulate how Tapi solves them in a way that feels commercial, credible, and compelling.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys winning, takes pride in running their own patch, and wants to grow alongside a fast-moving SaaS business.

What You’ll Do

You’ll own your sales pipeline and be accountable for hitting and exceeding monthly new business targets. You’ll run full-cycle sales motions, from prospecting and discovery through to demo, negotiation, and close.

You’ll qualify and progress opportunities generated by events and inbound demand, while also sourcing and developing your own leads for the majority of your pipeline. Product demos will be a core part of your role, and you’ll tailor each one to the specific challenges, goals, and structure of the agency you’re speaking with.

You’ll work closely with the broader Sales team and Sales leadership to plan and execute monthly sales strategies, and partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer outcomes.

From time to time, you’ll travel as required to attend key customer meetings, support deals, and represent Tapi at industry events and conferences. You’ll stay across competitor activity, industry trends, and emerging customer needs, feeding insights back into the business.

You’ll keep your CRM data clean and accurate, track pipeline progress rigorously, and contribute to team experimentation and continuous improvement as we refine how we sell in the UK market.

Who You Are

You’re driven, commercially minded, and great with people. You’re comfortable picking up the phone, running a tailored demo, and negotiating a deal with confidence. You want to win, and you know what it takes to do it consistently.

You have at least three years’ experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within SaaS, property, PropTech, or a related industry. You’ve got a proven track record of hitting quota in fast-paced environments and know how to manage a pipeline end to end.

You communicate clearly and persuasively, stay organised, and take pride in running your own territory. You understand what makes prospects tick and how to navigate sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders.

You’re proactive, comfortable working autonomously, and motivated by results. You bring energy and optimism to your work and are someone customers enjoy buying from, and teammates enjoy working with. Most importantly, you believe in Tapi’s mission and want to grow with the business.
