About the Role

We’re hiring a Head of Engineering to help us keep our team sharp, our delivery reliable, and our culture strong. You’ll work closely with the CTO, who leads AI innovation, technical strategy, and platform architecture. Your focus is to enable high-performance delivery and help the team operate with clarity and momentum. You’ll support team rhythms, engineering coordination, hiring operations, and support workflows. You won’t hesitate to jump on the tools if something critical needs hands-on attention. This isn’t about keeping the trains running. It’s about creating the conditions for excellent engineering to happen every sprint, every system, every teammate.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the team through delivery planning and trade-off decisions, ensuring technical direction aligns with company priorities.
  • Track delivery health across projects and resolve friction at the system level before it slows us down.
  • Coach engineers on how to give and receive feedback, grow in their roles, and contribute to a high-trust, high-autonomy environment.
  • Ensure cross-team delivery processes are consistent, lightweight, and continually improving.
  • Support hiring decisions and onboarding for new engineers, ensuring we grow the team without diluting what makes it strong.
  • Facilitate clear communication between engineering and the rest of the business, especially Product and Customer Success, to keep priorities aligned and feedback flowing.
  • Help build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of engineering management experience, with a strong focus on delivery coordination and team leadership.
  • Experience designing and leading engineering systems from team rituals to delivery flows that actually stick and improve over time.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills. You’re calm in the chaos and good at keeping people aligned.
  • A technical foundation that lets you guide conversations, ask smart questions, and dive in when it helps.
  • A growth mindset. You’re excited about scaling with the company and helping others do the same.
  • An operational lens. You care about doing the work better, faster, and with less friction.
  • Curiosity around how to measure engineering maturity, delivery health, and improve quality at scale.
  • Experience coaching senior engineers and helping elevate team performance through trust, feedback, and alignment.
