Key Responsibilities
This role offers a diverse range of exciting and impactful responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
Transactional Expertise:
- Serve as the go-to for complex conveyancing transactions
- Complete conveyancing transactions and perform thorough contract reviews, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, ensuring all legal and commercial interests are protected
- Provide strategic advice on structuring transactions
- Stay abreast of changes in property law and conveyancing practices, assisting management with updating internal guidelines accordingly
Continuous Improvement Champion:
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the business
- Identify areas for process optimisation and support cross-functional teams to implement solutions
- Engage with partners and customers to gather feedback and insights for service enhancement
- Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue opportunities in new markets
Key Position Requirements
Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:
- 5+ years PAE in all aspects of property law and a current unrestricted practicing certificate
- excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer and stakeholder focus and work ethic
- strong IT literacy, including an aptitude for learning (and becoming proficient in) the use of legal technology and IT applications
- professional presentation
- ability to multitask and manage several different tasks/jobs at once in an organised and coherent manner
- great attention to detail
- enthusiasm, confidence, energy, and positivity
