The Senior Software Engineer role exists because this mission lives and dies in the product. Our technology is not a support layer—it is the engine that enables smarter decisions, better execution, and real outcomes for homeowners. We need senior engineers who can take ownership of that engine: maintaining and evolving a complex production codebase, making sound architectural decisions, and shipping reliable software that scales with the business. This role is for builders who care deeply about craft, clarity, and impact—engineers who want to see their work translate directly into how people build wealth, not just into lines of code.
What you will do
- A senior engineer who takes ownership of outcomes, not just tickets
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making technical decisions with real business impact
- Disciplined about code quality, but pragmatic about shipping
- Confident reading, debugging, and improving existing codebases
- Curious and proactive about using AI and modern tools to work faster and smarter
- Clear, direct communicator who collaborates well with technical and non-technical partners
- Calm under pressure and capable of diagnosing and resolving production issues
- Motivated by building systems that matter and seeing your work used in the real world
Who you are
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript in production environments
- Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express
- Experience maintaining and evolving production applications with real users
- Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and system architecture
- Experience with testing frameworks and production-quality testing practices
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows (GitHub)
- Experience using analytics, monitoring, or logging tools in production environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Qualifications
- Experience with React Native in production
- Familiarity with containerization and deployment strategies (Docker or similar)
- Experience with performance optimization and security best practices
- Background in fast-growing startups or product-driven engineering teams
