We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join our Demand Gen team. In this role, your expertise in event strategy, project management, and marketing will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences that align with Proof’s brand and business objectives. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for every stage of event planning, from ideation and budgeting to logistics and post-event analysis. Your ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and manage multiple projects simultaneously will ensure our events are executed flawlessly and deliver measurable results. This position will report into the VP of Revenue Marketing.

What you’ll do as an Event Marketing Manager at Proof:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event marketing plans that align with Proof’s business objectives and drive attendance and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistics.
  • Create compelling event messaging and content that resonates with target audiences and drives interest and attendance.
  • Manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and provide recommendations for future improvements and optimizations.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to design engagement tactics and programs to drive enablement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into event marketing strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • A/B test tactics to improve events, direct acquisition efforts, landing pages, and lead capture forms
  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline and automate event campaigns
  • Work in concert with Demand team to generate strategy for driving pipeline and qualified meetings for our sales team
  • In charge of executing Proof hosted events (roundtables, VIP dinner, Proof Conference).

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years event marketing experience, ideally with a mix of exposure to SaaS, startups, B2B & B2C
  • Demand-centric event marketer with a proven track record of successfully launching events
  • Dynamic marketer who drives success for events using a variety of channels including email, ads, web, social, sales, events, and more.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills - able to understand attribution models, interpret data within the context of A/B tests, and derive actionable insights from data
  • Strong reporting capabilities, with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management
  • Proficient with marketing automation platforms (Salesforce & Hubspot especially), and ABM tools and technologies (i.e. 6sense).
  • Thoughtful communication skills, able to clearly convey ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences
  • Self-starter mentality, capable of managing multiple events with a high degree of autonomy, balanced with a desire to work successfully and collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Organized - you have your house together, you’re process driven and motivated, big on documentation and resource creation
