A talented and ambitious team is seeking the incorporation of an experienced CMO to join our senior executive team and lead our marketing and communications strategy. We are a Spanish company, with offices in Barcelona (HQ), Madrid, Lisbon and London. We are in growth expansion mode.

The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented CMO who likes to lead a company’s marketing strategy across a breadth of channels including it´s corporate communications, digital marketing, B2B lead generation and user engagement strategies in various countries. We seek a highly creative person who enjoys executing on the latest and best of modern marketing strategies and is a motivational leader of high performing teams. You will have responsibility for the direction and execution of the company's communication and marketing and report directly to the President of the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Keeping us as innovators in our sector. Marketing and telling our story to our stakeholders, clients and users in a compelling way that resonates
• Responsable for and leading the team, strategy and results of our communications & marketing departments
• Active member of senior-exec team delivering a growth culture and long-term company objectives
• Creating successful marketing campaigns based on data analysis and customer feedback as primary decision-making tools
• Being a representative of the executive team of the company in tradeshows and events
• Supporting, guiding and focusing our talented marketing team to help them achieve more and grow individually
• Demanding the highest quality in all our company communications
• Deliver planning and budgets based on marketing principals to achieve highest return on marketing investment

You will fit in perfectly with us if you have:

• You have a minimum of 10 years of relatable marketing experience
• You have led a marketing department for 3+ years and have demonstrable results
• You have relevant communication & marketing studies and a commitment to continual education of the latest trends in your field
• You are able to work in marketing copy in both English and Spanish
• Experience across various different marketing disciplines and corporate communications
• You are passionate about the Smart Point product and what it offers our corporate clients and users
• You are data driven and customer centric 
• You are naturally creative and inquisitive
• You are detail-oriented and organised
• Positive spirit, thinks big and willing to work within our company values.
