Maket is building the Architectural Brain — a generative AI platform that empowers anyone to design, customize, and bring architectural floorplans to life with ease.

We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer — AI Developer Experience to join our Product team. This is a dual role: half your time you’ll be shipping features across our stack, and the other half you’ll be rethinking how our engineering team builds — introducing AI-augmented workflows, evaluating new tools, and making everyone on the team dramatically more effective. Think of it as being the team’s context engineer — designing how AI tools are configured, prompted, and woven into everyday development work.

🧱 What You’ll Build

You’ll work across the full stack while leading the charge on how we integrate AI into our development workflows.

• Ship product. Build and maintain features across our React frontend and Node.js backend — you’re a contributing engineer, not just an advisor.
• Introduce AI dev tooling. Evaluate, implement, and champion tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and AI-powered CI agents across the team.
• Design AI-augmented workflows. Rethink how we write, review, test, and deploy code — embedding AI at every stage where it makes us faster or better.
• Measure what matters. Track adoption, velocity, and quality metrics to prove what’s working and iterate on what isn’t.
• Be the bridge. Work across Product, AI, and Engineering to ensure AI tooling decisions align with what the team actually needs.

• You’re obsessed with developer productivity — you’ve tried every AI coding tool and methodology and have opinions about what actually works.
• You spend a lot of time perusing the latest and greatest on X/Twitter.
• You’re a strong fullstack engineer who can context-switch between building features and improving processes.
• You’re a self-starter who doesn’t wait for permission to try something new.
• You can teach and influence — getting a team to change how they work requires trust, not just good tooling.
• You move quickly but know when to be rigorous.

• Languages: JavaScript / TypeScript
• Frontend: React, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js, Postgres, NestJS
• APIs & Data: REST / GraphQL
• AI Dev Tools: Hands-on experience with Claude Code and other AI coding assistants
• Version Control: Git workflows, code review processes

Nice-to-Haves

• Infrastructure: AWS or GCP
• CI/CD: Experience integrating AI into build/test/deploy pipelines
• Analytics: PostHog or similar tools for tracking developer workflows
• Python for scripting, automation, or AI tooling

✅ Requirements

• Solid experience as a fullstack developer — we care more about depth and initiative than years on a resume.
• Demonstrated interest in AI-augmented development — blog posts, side projects, internal advocacy, conference talks, or just a GitHub full of experiments.
• Comfort working across the full stack, from UI components to database queries.
• A portfolio, GitHub, or examples that show both your engineering craft and your curiosity about how teams can work better with AI.
