Maket is building the Architectural Brain — a generative AI platform that empowers anyone to design, customize, and bring architectural floorplans to life with ease.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong Frontend chops to join our Product team and help us reimagine Maket from the ground up. If you’re excited about bringing beautiful designs to life using cutting-edge technologies, this role is for you.

Compensation: TBD based on experience and fit.

Location: Montreal, or Canada/US remote.

What You’ll Build

You’ll shape the interface that brings our vision for the future of architecture to life — helping users:

• Create and customize architectural floorplans in real time.
• Visualize ideas instantly using the latest image generation models.
• Collaborate seamlessly with their AI architect throughout the design process.

• You’re passionate about building exceptional user experiences.
• You obsess over the details but think holistically about systems.
• You care deeply about design and love collaborating with designers.
• You have experience shipping complex applications and know how to make tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and ship end-to-end features at Maket.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, performant components.
• Work in close collaboration with the Design and AI teams.
• Troubleshoot issues, refine user flows, and continuously improve performance and usability.

Dev Stack

Must-Have Experience

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript (vanilla), Tailwind CSS, CSS animations
• Backend: Node.js, MongoDB
• State Management: Redux, Zustand, or Context API

Nice-to-Haves

• Graphics: SVG, Canvas
• Backend: NestJS, PostgreSQL
• Infrastructure: AWS / GCP
• Tests: Cypress or similar testing frameworks

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience building advanced web applications.
• A strong portfolio or Github profile that showcases your work.
