Your Mission:
Your mission is to plan, lead, and execute exceptional meetings and events throughout this stunning building. You will be managing the conference center and planning and executing events throughout different parts of the building - the game lounge, lobby, rooftop, and other outdoor areas.
The Legacy You'll Leave:
As a result of your creative planning and flawless execution, bookings throughout your building became a hot commodity in Chicago. The programming you provided elevated this asset into so much more than just an office. You activated and engaged both tenants and the public to create a vibrant space that sparked connection, unlocked productivity, and enabled wellbeing and longevity. You made a lasting impression, and your repeat customers increased revenue and tenant retention.

What You're Responsible For:

  • Amenity and Operational Management: Oversee the operational strategy and management of amenity spaces throughout the building, including revenue generation and financial reporting.
  • Consistent Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets within the bookable amenity spaces through cultivating internal and external relationships with potential customers. Oversee membership management within the on-site fitness center.
  • Stakeholder and Tenant Relationships: Cultivate meaningful relationships with tenants and key stakeholders, providing personalized solutions and white-glove hospitality experiences.
  • Marketing and Communication: Implement and oversee marketing strategies and communications, including newsletters, email campaigns, digital marketing, and printed materials to drive internal and external bookings of the amenity spaces.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and manage relationships with local vendors, retail tenants, on-site food and beverage operators, and external partners to enhance event offerings and tenant experiences.
  • Team and Operational Support: You will support the Operations Team with projects to increase client engagement and member experience.

Who You Are - Baseline Expectations:

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in meetings, conferences and/or events. You may have worked as an Event Coordinator or Manager at a hotel or upscale event venue.
  • You are comfortable working on a flexible work schedule, knowing you may need to shift your working hours for scheduled events.
  • You are technologically savvy and comfortable learning new technologies. Ideally, you have experience working with AV/IT systems and building apps in a previous role.
  • Proficient in Slack and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Gmail).
  • Comfortable using new and evolving technology systems for membership management.

Who You Are - Core Competencies:

  • Obsessively customer-centric: You have an innate hospitality mindset and a track record of exceeding expectations. You thrive when you’re serving others and take pride in making people feel seen and valued. In previous roles, you exceeded what customers expected of you, and you are happiest when you are serving others.
  • A resourceful entrepreneur energized by making your mark: You are thrilled to be launching a brand new role and excited to impress your client. You have a track record of working autonomously, efficiently managing tasks, and making decisions with minimal supervision.
  • A hyper-organized ball juggler: You’re a natural multitasker who stays on top of details, constantly reprioritizing to keep things running smoothly. Chaos doesn’t scare you—it motivates you because you know how to create order from it.
  • A stellar communicator: You’re approachable, professional, and responsive. You build trust easily, communicate with empathy, and are just as comfortable chatting with C-suite executives as you are with first-time gym-goers.
  • Creative and innovative mindset: You don’t just do what’s been done—you ask what could be better. You think beyond the obvious and bring fresh energy to problem-solving and programming.
  • Technologically savvy: You’ve worked across a variety of digital tools and platforms and bring a curious, solution-oriented mindset to any tech stack.
  • A reliable team player: Your past managers would say that you are dependable, collaborative, and that you show up every day ready to “pick up an oar.” You understand how your role fits into the larger mission and care deeply about collective success.
