Your Mission:
Your mission is to provide an exceptional member experience at the CityWest Fitness Center, located within the CityWestPlace corporate office building - lulafit’s very first location in Houston! You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the fitness center with a hospitality mindset, ensuring a seamless experience that members rave about. You will support the General Manager on-site in marketing and programming initiatives, generating and conducting personal and small group training sessions, leading group fitness classes, and providing the CityWestPlace tenants with an exceptional experience that is their favorite break from their day-to-day job.
The Legacy You'll Leave:
As a result of your time in this role, CityWest Fitness Center became known as the primary hub for tenant well-being in Houston’s Westchase District. You built lasting relationships with hundreds of members, supported increased fitness center engagement and membership satisfaction, and helped CityWest Fitness Center become the reason tenants were excited to come to work every day. Your efforts supported CityWest Fitness Center in becoming a central hub for tenant connection, well-being, and longevity, making it a key factor in lease renewals and solidifying CityWestPlace as the most desirable workplace in Houston.
What You're Responsible For:
- Exceptional Member Experience: Create a fun and engaging atmosphere that encourages member participation and enhances their overall experience. Greet all members enthusiastically, ensuring they feel welcomed as they enter the facility. Listen and respond to all member feedback with a solutions-oriented mindset by responding and following up with members within 1 business day.
- One-on-One and Small Group Coaching: You’ll conduct 10-15 tailored personal or small group training sessions weekly by retaining existing clients and gaining new ones through complimentary new member sessions. You’ll master using lulafit’s proprietary technology to manage personal training clients and their sessions. Accurately track details of all personal training client programming, including goals, workouts, and progression.
- Group Fitness Programming: You will plan and lead safe and effective group exercise classes (at least four classes per week), maintaining a class attendance rate of 60% capacity or higher. You’ll ideate and lead exciting specialty fitness classes related to seasonal sports leagues, like an agility training class for basketball league participants. Your innovative and thoughtful programming will support your team in maintaining a quarterly membership satisfaction rating of 96% or higher.
- Membership and Service Revenue: Support your team in reaching your collective annual membership goal of $315,000 by leading prospective member tours and assisting your General Manager with marketing materials and promotional events. Meet or exceed your team’s annual personal training revenue goal of $24,000 by establishing a consistent schedule with your training clients and maintaining a high conversion rate of complimentary sessions to package purchases.
- Operational Excellence: You’ll keep your fitness center running smoothly and beautifully by ensuring it is always clean, organized, and fully operational. Guide members through the enrollment process using the Lulafit app to ensure accurate data reporting. Utilize membership management tools and software platforms with expertise to support operational needs.
- Pristine Facility Upkeep: Ensure your fitness center is always up to Lulafit standards by performing checks throughout the fitness floor regularly during each shift, restocking supplies, and maintaining locker room cleanliness. Keep all special touches stocked like our infused water, essential oil diffusers, and eucalyptus towels.
