So, what’s the role?

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Growth Marketing Senior Manager to lead our direct mail strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing our direct mail program to drive new customer acquisition and engagement, with a focus on optimizing our strategy to maximize the opportunity created by internally-developed demand modeling for our potential customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing a direct mail channel, experience working with internal analytics teams to develop direct mail targeting & tactics, and prior people management experience with a passion for managing and developing internal talent.

A day in the life could include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive direct mail strategy to drive new customer acquisition and brand awareness.

  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including audience segmentation, creative development, print production, postage, and performance tracking.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., creative, analytics, product) to ensure seamless campaign execution, measurement, and consistent brand messaging.

  • Manage and support the professional growth and development of one direct report, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Integrating direct mail execution into our broader marketing strategy, optimizing frequency and creative selection to fit within omnichannel top and mid-funnel campaigns.

  • Organize the monitoring and analysis of campaign performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize spend and improve ROI in conjunction with our internal analytics team and external vendors.

  • Conduct A/B testing on variables like copy, creative, formats, and list segments to continuously refine strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in direct mail and offline marketing.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, printers, and list brokers as needed.

  • Manage and optimize budgets for all assigned direct mail campaigns.

I’ve got the skills… but do I have the necessary ones?

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a strong focus on direct mail.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing direct mail campaigns for customer acquisition and retention.

  • Experience managing monthly budgets of $500K+.

  • Proven ability to drive customer acquisition and awareness through direct mail.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to direct mail marketing.

  • Proficiency in marketing analytics platforms and direct mail tracking tools.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
