This pivotal role will place you alongside our AR Manager, immersing you in a plethora of projects poised for your professional advancement.

Your Impact

Flex Position working 30 - 40 hours a week and reporting directly to the Controller, your role is integral to maintaining the precision of invoices, client billing statements, and accounts receivable balances. Your daily responsibilities will span across invoicing, collections, and meticulous tracking of Accounts Receivable. You'll also be instrumental in managing virtual deposits, and handling various payment methods in compliance with PCI standards. Beyond processing, your role extends to enhancing customer relationships through proactive communication, ensuring invoice accuracy, and driving the timely payment of open invoices. You'll also contribute to our continuous improvement ethos by evaluating current policies and championing innovative process enhancements.

What You Bring to the Table

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable, banking, or customer service within a call center environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to clearly convey information and understand customer needs.
  • Proficient written communication skills ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
  • Persuasive skills to negotiate payment terms and encourage timely payments.
  • Patience and empathy to handle difficult conversations and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.
  • An inventive problem-solver with excellent negotiation skills, adopting a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities to seamlessly collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Adept in Windows environment and Excel, with a typing speed of 35 wpm and proficiency in 10-Key operations.
  • A commendable credit history, as validated by a credit report.

  • Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 an hour. We conduct annual performance and salary reviews to continue to increase your compensation level as you grow and perform in the role.
  • Monday Friday schedule with focus on core client hours of 8am to 4pm PST.

FLEXIBILITY

As the primary caregiver to a newborn, we provide 12 weeks paid leave + another 4 weeks of part-time paid transition time to support your return. As the supporting caregiver, we provide 6 weeks of paid leave.
