Who we're looking for...

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the Finance organization and will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) providing strategic guidance to the company’s growth plans. The CFO will direct and oversee all financial activities of the corporation, as well as risk management and compliance. Adapting to and promoting the Company’s culture and values is critical to the success of this position which will require a hands-on management style vs oversight only.

What you will do...

  • Manage the Finance/Accounting Team maintaining the right people in the right seats supporting the business needs.
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to develop the annual business plan and ongoing business strategy.
  • Establish and maintain financial planning scenarios as well as routine cash flow projections to facilitate strategic decision making.
  • Provide timely and accurate management reporting and highlight actions needed to stay on track with the annual business plan.
  • Lead contract management activities, coordinating with outside legal counsel and internal security and IT teams to serve customers and protect the Company with clear and understandable contractual agreements.
  • Compile and submit monthly financial data and forecasting adjustments to ELT.
  • Provide a broad sense of projected cash and debt utilization, and promptly communicate notable disruptions to cash demand or availability to ELT.
  • Effectively partner with the IT / IS leadership in facets of technical systems and pertinent information.
  • CFO may have deliverables for computation and execution of any high-level executive compensation plans jointly devised with COO and HR.
  • Accountable for facilitation of insurance renewal data and key decisions impacting the Company.
  • Build and maintain open, honest working relationships with others, to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee accounting department, tax and audit functions.
  • Implement procurement processes that incorporate oversight and accountability while maintaining operational speed and efficiency.

Our ideal candidate will be or have…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive financial management experience in SaaS or related fields.
  • Broad exposure to financial & accounting disciplines including general accounting, audit, reporting, planning & analysis, budgeting, internal controls, information systems, treasury & taxation.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining standard cost accounting is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability for providing meaningful financial information to the ELT and Board.
  • Creative problem solver and a thought partner to the COO/CEO with strong analytical & abstract reasoning skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, provide edits & input on, and negotiate contracts with vendors, and other outside entities.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information into actionable priorities for the team.
  • Experience in effectively implementing & utilizing information systems that create operational efficiencies and provide information to support business decisions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to analyze data/facts to support valid conclusions and sound recommendations.

Compensation:

The total compensation range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000 annually. Final compensation for this role is determined by a variety of factors, such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
