Back-Office Training and Onboarding

We are looking for highly motivated and talented people to make an impact. This is a unique opportunity for you to shape and grow with one of the fastest growing areas of our business - Real Estate financial back-office.

The back-office of a brokers operation is the engine that runs the entire real estate brokerage. You will be responsible for working with brokers, admins and transaction coordinators answering questions and helping set up commission plans, transaction management, financial reports, Quickbooks integration, and other transaction and financial questions related to their back-office. There is a high level of written and verbal interaction with customers on a day-to-day basis that requires a high degree of accountability and timeliness in responses and updates.

Ideally, you currently work for a real estate company and are working in the back-office setting up commission plans, transaction checklists, following up with agents for signatures, double checking fees and deductions, payouts, and much more.

We have opens for both back-office trainers, support and back-office onboarding (helping a brokerage get set up with our financial software).

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in real estate back-office and in a technical support role handling technical issues
  • Understanding of real estate commissions and how they work
  • Knowledge of real estate fees, deductions, bonuses and more that affect an agent's commission
  • Understanding of e-signatures and document management
  • Excellent communication skills; you are an expert at breaking down complicated topics and explaining them in simple terms people can understand
  • The ability to be empathetic, compassionate, responsive and resourceful; you are supportive and comfortable handling challenging situations over the phone
  • A focus on solution-seeking in the face of a challenge; you know how to organize and prioritize your workload
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Solve support tickets using a ticketing system like Zoho Desk

What we'd love

  • 3+ years’ experience in real estate back-office
  • Real estate knowledge mandatory
  • Understanding of how real estate commissions work and are paid
  • Quickbooks knowledge a plus, but not mandatory
  • Experience with real estate transactions and financials is mandatory
  • Having a consultative approach to customer support
  • Strong understanding of ticketing systems
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication ability
